Account Executive - Telecom, Energy, and Travel

The Account Executive is a client-facing, sales role responsible for revenue generation, customer relationship and Equifax engagement within accounts in the telecommunications, energy/utilities, and travel verticals. The Account Executive must orchestrate other company resources efficiently to drive sales and revenue growth of a full Equifax solutions portfolio.

What you will do

  • Build trust – establish positive relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and dedication to value (value of counsel and expertise, value of solutions)
  • Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with current clients within different industries such as travel, telecommunications, and utilities/energy
  • Develops strong working relationship with client economic buyers, decision makers, and influencers
  • Strengthens the business relationship by expanding the ways in which customer relies on Equifax as a trusted advisor
  • Promote a customer focus – work to understands each account’s strategic growth plans, data and technology strategy, and the competitive landscape
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer strategies, priorities, needs and organizational structure
  • Engages with clients on a consultative basis to learn their business, anticipate needs, and position optimal solutions
  • Provide account leadership – create and maintain actionable account plans to guide, develop strategies and identify new business opportunities to ensure revenue target delivery and profitable growth
  • Defines and executes sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer value
  • Identifies, develops, manages, and closes customer opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions
  • Orchestrates and leverages Equifax account, solution, and delivery pre-sales/sales resources effectively and at appropriate times to move opportunities forward and to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Leads account strategy and planning motions with cross-functional team to align customer business imperatives with Equifax solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional experts internally to best align with customers and win new business opportunities
  • Prepares and conducts periodic customer business reviews
  • Manages contracting and contract compliance
  • Drives strong pipeline development and sales execution

What experience you need

  • 7-10 years of experience exceeding sales goals in B2B account management, partner sales, business development or related sales role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • Solution experience - credit risk, data driven marketing, commercial, or identity and fraud
  • Successful experience of working with people across functions and geographies to a desired outcome (matrixed environment)
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and sales technology knowledge including G-Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Salesforce

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $113,180.00 to $160,000.00. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program at approximately 55%. The application window is anticipated to close on Friday, February 13, 2026.
