This position reports to the Accounting Manager.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Assist with the month end close process and preparation of the financial statements</li> <li>Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts. Identify, research, investigate, and problem-solve GL account discrepancies</li> <li>Record monthly journal entries with proper documentation pertaining but not limited to: revenue, COS, fixed assets, and other various accruals</li> <li>Work closely with employees to review expense reimbursements and corporate credit card charges. Adhere to company policies in preserving confidentiality of employee information.</li> <li>Perform analytical review of monthly international financial packages from subsidiaries</li> <li>Prepare quarterly review and annual audit schedules, as well as SOX compliance support for internal and external auditors</li> <li>Understand accounting concepts and GAAP</li> <li>Ad hoc requests and special projects should be expected as well (such as analyze and prepare trend analysis for management)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting</li> <li>1+ years’ experience in preparing and recording transactions in accordance with GAAP</li> <li>Ability to self-start and self-direct work</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Excel will be used extensively)</li> <li>Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and to solve problems with moderate supervision</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines in a fast paced environment</li> <li>Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment; comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the organization</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail</li> <li>Positive attitude</li> </ul> <p>The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $80,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.</p> <p>#LI-REMOTE</p>
