Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with local running clubs, businesses, and specialty stores to position adidas as a trusted partner within the running community.
  • Plan, execute, and host community events, activations, and demo sessions that highlight adidas products and foster direct, authentic engagement with local runners.
  • Introduce and educate runners on adidas products, encouraging trials to showcase performance and innovation.
  • Partner with local specialty stores to align activations with retail objectives, driving foot traffic and fostering long-term purchasing behaviors.
  • Represent adidas at community events, promoting the brand authentically and building trust within the running community.
  • Monitor the impact of activations on brand exposure, consumer consideration, and retail traffic, providing feedback to refine strategies.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the running community and a genuine enthusiasm for adidas and the sport.
  • Strong attention to detail, extremely reliable and capable of troubleshooting to bring things to life.
  • Past relevant, sports & lifestyle brand, event and community activation experience (minimum 5 -8 years).
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire, engage and communicate with audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners on both the brand and agency teams.
  • A team-player mentality, motivated to seek out opportunities to collaborate with the running community.
  • Self-sufficient and highly motivated, with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
