ADP Workforce Now (WFN) Functional Consultant

<p><strong>TEKsystems has a contract role (can site remote but would be supporting Pacific Time zone and could have some occasional travel to the Bay area). We are looking for an ADP Workforce Now </strong><strong style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">Senior</strong><strong> Functional Analyst. Client is implementing Oracle HCM Cloud and intergrating with ADP WFN. Ideal candidate has both Oracle HCM Cloud and ADP Workforce Now experience. The overall job duties and responsibilites: </strong></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>ADP Workforce Now – Functional Leadership</p><p>• Serve as the ADP WFN functional SME across Payroll, Time & Attendance, and core HR data dependencies</p><p>• Support configuration and validation of:</p><p>o Earnings, deductions, taxes, and pay codes</p><p>o Labor distribution / costing structures</p><p>o Payroll calendars, pay groups, and control totals</p><p>• Review ADP configuration for alignment with Oracle HCM source-of-truth design</p><p>Oracle HCM ↔ ADP Integration</p><p>• Lead functional design for Oracle HCM Cloud to ADP Workforce Now integrations, including:</p><p>o Employee demographic and job data</p><p>o Compensation and pay rate changes</p><p>o Department / cost center / location mappings</p><p>o Optional assignment-level attributes (e.g., costing drivers)</p><p>• Partner with technical resources to define and validate:</p><p>o Inbound/outbound flat files (CSV/TXT)</p><p>o Data mapping, transformation rules, and error handling</p><p>• Troubleshoot integration errors across Oracle, middleware, and ADP</p><p>Payroll Processing & Controls</p><p>• Support payroll parallel testing, validation cycles, and reconciliation</p><p>• Ensure proper handling of:</p><p>o Retro pay</p><p>o Terminations and final pay</p><p>o Adjustments and off-cycle payrolls</p><p>• Assist in defining payroll controls, audit checks, and approval workflows</p><p>Payroll to GL / Downstream Integration Support</p><p>• Support functional validation of ADP payroll expense outputs feeding Oracle Financials</p><p>• Validate account mapping, balancing, and posting logic</p><p>• Assist with payroll accruals, reversals, and reconciliation processes</p><p>Testing, Cutover & Go-Live</p><p>• Support SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll testing</p><p>• Execute and validate test scenarios across Oracle HCM and ADP</p><p>• Support cutover planning, mock cutovers, and go-live stabilization</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Required Experience & Qualifications</p><p>Must-Have</p><p>• 5+ years hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (functional, not just oversight)</p><p>• Direct experience integrating Oracle HCM Cloud with ADP Workforce Now</p><p>• Strong understanding of payroll processing, labor costing, and payroll controls</p><p>• Experience supporting payroll parallel testing and go-live stabilization</p><p>• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving implementation environment</p><p>Strongly Preferred</p><p>• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR, Compensation, Costing)</p><p>• Healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-entity payroll experience</p><p>• Experience working alongside Oracle ERP Financials (GL, costing)</p><p>• Familiarity with flat-file based integrations (non-connector models)</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Soft Skills & Working Style</p><p>• Strong communicator who can translate payroll complexity for HR and Finance stakeholders</p><p>• Comfortable pushing back on poor design or risky shortcuts</p><p>• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and test-focused</p><p>• Collaborative mindset—works well with internal teams, SI partners, and vendors</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Engagement Notes</p><p>• This is a hands-on delivery role, not a strategy-only position</p><p>• Expectation is active participation in design sessions, testing cycles, and issue resolution</p><p>• Ideal candidate has “been in the trenches” with Oracle–ADP integrations before</p><p>Just re-itorating that the data for Payroll will come from Oracle HCM so the concultant MUST HAVE experience with Oracle HCM</p><p><strong>Experience Level</strong></p><p>Expert Level</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.</p><p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
