Role: Amazon Flat File / Master File Specialist

Location: Remote

Schedule: East Coast Time Zone (9-5 Full-Time)

Salary Range: $8–$12 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Amazon Flat File / Master File Specialist to support catalog management and listing integrity across a 3,000+ ASIN portfolio.

This role is focused on flat file creation, parent-child variation management, and Seller Central casework. The ideal candidate is execution-focused, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving Amazon environment where listings require constant monitoring and correction.

Accuracy, speed, and strong technical understanding of Amazon’s catalog structure are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Flat File Creation & Management:

    • Full flat file creation from scratch
    • Master file maintenance and updates
    • Variation theme configuration (size, color, style)
    • Bulk uploads via Seller Central

Parent-Child Variation Management:

    • Build and maintain parent-child relationships
    • Troubleshoot orphaned child ASINs
    • Resolve broken variation families
    • Maintain clean SKU hierarchy

Seller Central Casework:

    • Create and manage Seller Support cases
    • Resolve listing suppressions and stranded issues
    • Troubleshoot upload errors and feed processing reports
    • Escalate catalog conflicts when necessary

Catalog Monitoring & Maintenance:

    • Monitor listing health across 3,000+ ASINs
    • Identify and correct structural catalog issues
    • Support parent ASIN tracking initiatives
    • Maintain accurate backend listing data

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

    • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (minimum 2 years)
    • Strong experience creating and troubleshooting flat files
    • Experience managing parent-child variation structures
    • Experience handling Amazon casework
    • Ability to read and resolve flat file upload errors
    • Ability to work East Coast hours
    • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Haves

    • Experience with Amazon Brand Registry
    • Experience managing high-variation apparel or footwear catalogs
    • Experience supporting 3,000+ ASIN portfolios
    • Familiarity with inventory forecasting or parent ASIN tracking systems
    • Experience using Asana or similar task management tools
    • Prior experience working with US-based Amazon sellers
    • Leadership or training experience
