Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Amazon Reimbursements & FBA Cost Optimization Manager to fully own and scale our global reimbursement and fee auditing function. This role is highly impactful and directly contributes to profitability by identifying, disputing, and recovering lost revenue, while proactively reducing Amazon-related cost leakage.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and capable of running an end-to-end process independently with minimal oversight.

You will support all Amazon regions, managing reimbursement claims and fee auditing across every marketplace we operate in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Amazon FBA reimbursement process across all marketplaces (US, EU, Canada, and more)
  • Identify, submit, track, escalate, and appeal reimbursement claims related to lost, damaged, or miscounted inventory
  • Audit Amazon FBA fees and investigate overbilling, incorrect charges, and other fee discrepancies
  • Monitor and optimize participation in Amazon programs including SIPP, Manage Your Sourcing Costs, and other cost-reduction initiatives
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track reimbursements, fee accuracy, margin impact, and recovery performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
  • Audit our current reimbursement workflow, identify gaps, and implement improved processes from scratch
  • Proactively recommend tools and process improvements to reduce future Amazon-related losses

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Audit our current reimbursement and fee recovery process and identify key opportunities for improvement
  • Propose a clear, scalable reimbursement workflow and reporting structure
  • Begin implementing improvements immediately and tracking performance metrics
  • Reduce backlog, improve follow-up structure, and increase recovered value percentage
  • Deliver clear reporting that leadership can use to track ROI and profitability impact

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Amazon FBA reimbursements at scale
  • Strong understanding of Amazon FBA fees, reimbursement policies, and dispute workflows
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through (able to push cases until resolution)
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to manage complexity across large catalogs and high-volume operations
