This role will leverage cutting-edge technology to build infrastructure, tools, and frameworks that enable analysts, data scientists, and business partners to access insights faster and more efficiently. Who Are You?: Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in a related analytics field graduating in December 2026, Summer 2027 or later. To be intern-eligible, you must be returning to school for one semester or quarter post-Summer internship. Proficient in Big Data SQL (e.g., Spark, Trino) and pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Metaflow). Experienced in building reusable analytics infrastructure (data models, metric frameworks) and designing scalable self-service BI/visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau, Looker). A strong communicator who can develop, own, and deepen strong relationships with a wide variety of non-technical and technical stakeholders. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive with minimal process. Analytically minded, bringing data solutions and business impact together while having autonomy in managing cross-functional projects. An individual who pays attention to the details and makes a conscious effort to understand causes instead of just the effects. An individual with a growth mindset who is impact-driven, and has a strong desire for growing a broad set of technical and non-technical skills. What will you learn?: You will build scalable tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that enable data practitioners across the organization to deliver insights more efficiently. You will develop reusable data pipelines, automated workflows, and self-service analytics solutions that reduce manual effort and accelerate decision-making. You will partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify scaling opportunities and translate them into technical solutions that multiply impact across teams. You will contribute to the evolution of our analytics platform by prototyping new capabilities and testing innovative approaches to insight delivery. We match qualified interns with projects and groups based on interests and skill sets, and fully embed interns within those groups for the summer. Internships are paid and are a minimum of 12 weeks, with a choice of a few fixed start dates in May or June 2026 to accommodate varying school calendars. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall market range for Netflix Internships is typically $40/hour - $110/hour.
