Job Description:

Application Support Engg - .net

Shift - 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST.

4 days working from office (Moday is Work from Home)
Location - Bangalore

“Application Software Engineer” role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for internally developed software applications (Customer Application Developed using Microsoft, Azure developer platforms, MS SQL) and vendor software products (3rd Party COTS Applications and database with MS SQL). Responsibilities include managing Bug Fixes, Application Support, software configuration, testing and deployment. The position also collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve software issues and implement updates or patches.

The responsibilities are to function as a contributing team member and proficient software engineer. The job requires participating in team Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, spring planning, demos, sprint reviews), estimating effort (story points) to accomplish work, and supporting software systems within the technical constraints of Chevron’s IT environment.

Required:

  • Experience in implementing and supporting Scalable, Distributed, .NET Applications including software installation, configuration, maintenance and deployment.
  • .NET C# Experience
  • Web API
  • Relational Database Skills
  • LINQ
  • Azure DevOps and Agile Experience
  • Angular (good to have)

Good to have

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Ansible, PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure/ AWS).
  • Familiarity with low code platforms ( Power Platform)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
  • Experience in database management and query languages (SQL).
