Assistant for Sports Property Sales

The Role



CAA Sports is looking for an Assistant to join the Property Sales team in the New York office. This team is responsible for selling sponsorships and branding deals on behalf of arenas, leagues and teams within the sports industry. In this role, the Assistant will initially be responsible for providing administrative support to two Sports Property Sales Executives, aiding in completion of day-to-day tasks such as scheduling meetings, calendar management, processing expense reports, carrying out research and providing assistance within the partnerships sales process. Assistants are an important part of the CAA structure, and it is hoped that the successful candidate will ultimately become an Agent within the company. Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support for the team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expenses, answering calls, taking notes during calls, meeting and greeting clients

• General market research as required on: Competitors, Brands, Territories, Legislation and Events

• Prospecting new business across emerging brands and categories

• Production of presentations for new business and client meetings

• Manage a high-volume workload and prioritize time-sensitive tasks

• Research and analyze data to create insights and briefings

• General assistance to the team with ongoing projects



Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred

• 0-1 years of experience including full-time work or internships

• Administrative experience and experience with Microsoft Office is preferred

• Ability to prioritize a busy workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Detail oriented, with specific attention to organization

• Self-starter who takes initiative to explore and isn't afraid to ask questions

• Professionalism in developing business relationships at all levels

• General understanding and interest in the sports business landscape, including Esports and Formula 1 is preferred

• Previous experience in sponsorships/partnerships, branding, marketing fields is desirable
