The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance. About the role In this role, you will serve as a senior business-facing technology leader, acting as the primary conduit between Claims stakeholders and technology delivery teams to ensure initiatives are clearly defined, strategically aligned, and delivered with measurable business impact. The role is responsible for ensuring Claims technology solutions are grounded in business need, operational efficiency, and aligned to our Claims Technology North Star, supporting scalability, simplification, and improved Claims outcomes globally. You will work closely with Claims leadership, business units, and business analyst teams throughout the lifecycle to translate business intent into high-quality, execution-ready solutions, How you will create impact Develop a deep understanding of Claims business processes, operational workflows, and performance drivers to identify and address critical business issues and transformation opportunities. Engage, build, and cultivate strong partnerships with business stakeholders and IT partners, contributing to technology strategy, solution design, and prioritization decisions. Lead and coordinate onsite and offshore resources across requirements definition, Agile planning, and delivery milestones to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes. Partner with business and IT teams to define requirements, priorities, process improvements, and solution approaches that support the Claims Technology North Star and business strategy. Facilitate, design, and document business process flows, data mappings, and functional requirements to ensure clarity and consistency across all delivery teams. Provide program leadership and accountability for execution, including progress oversight, issue resolution, and executive-level reporting across all levels of management. What you will need to succeed Strong knowledge and experience within the insurance industry; Claims domain experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across business, operations, and technology functions in a complex global environment. Proven history of enabling large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives impacting global user populations. Critical ability to manage and drive multiple initiatives across geographies, ensuring alignment and consistency of outcomes. Analytical and data-driven mindset with a track record of identifying process improvement and optimization opportunities. Experience in Enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) platforms such as Pega or equivalent. Experience supporting large-scale product or platform implementation initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creation of executive-ready updates, strategic documentation, and stakeholder communications. Proven ability to ask the right questions, understand complex processes, and identify where technology can best enable business results. 10+ years of experience supporting end-to-end design, analysis, and delivery within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of cloud computing paradigms, enterprise design patterns, and Agile development methodologies. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
