Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.<br><br>The Finance & Strategy team’s Revenue Analytics function plays a central role in developing insights that inform our growth and monetization strategy. Our revenue and membership forecasts are critical components that feed into the corporate planning process for spending and resource allocation across content, commerce, and technology.<br><br>We are seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Associate to join our APAC team. You will play a key role in supporting insights and analyses that shape Netflix’s growth in India and the wider APAC region. To be successful, you are a self-starter with a keen analytical eye and proven experience as a cross-functional partner. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a builder mindset and can navigate ambiguity. You are a strong communicator, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively to a broad set of stakeholders.<br><br>This role is based out of Mumbai, India and will include occasional travel to Netflix’s offices in USA and Singapore.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Support strategic value-added analyses to understand the drivers behind membership and revenue growth in the APAC markets, derive actionable insights and feedback to collaborative cross-function stakeholders (Content, Partnerships, Ads, Payments, Product, Consumer Insights, Data Science etc.)</li><ul><li>Assess and communicate the impact of business decisions such as price changes, content launches, and product innovations to facilitate planning and operational decisions</li><li>Analyze and evaluate the business impact of key external events such as competitor moves or country-specific events</li><li>Research, track and generate insights about the membership growth landscape</li></ul><li>Be a key contributor to in-region pricing decisions, compiling internal and external intelligence to inform price and plan strategy</li><li>Collect cross-functional inputs to inform and support the revenue and membership forecasts</li><li>Support efforts to centralize and standardize revenue performance reporting, helping identify cross-region best practices to enhance scalability and consistency in business analytics<br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>A successful candidate should have the ability to combine comprehensive data analytics with sound business intuition and judgment, and effectively communicate analytical insights to stakeholders. Given the questions asked of our team are often urgent in nature and have an immediate impact on how the business makes decisions, the individual coming into this role must be able to deliver accurate results promptly. They must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results, and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.<br><br><ul><li>5+ years of experience in an analytical & strategy role (e.g. business analytics, tech strategy)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel & SQL required</li><ul><li>Experience building quantitative models in Excel or other modeling tools</li><li>Experience writing complex SQL queries to analyze large data sets</li><li>Other coding and technical experience (e.g. VBA, Python, Tableau, etc.) is a plus, but not a prerequisite</li></ul><li>Ability to independently extract, explore, and analyze big data from both internal and external sources to guide the analysis of complex issues</li><li>Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, discipline, and flexibility</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
