Associate Director -Sector Business Manager -Insurance

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with the KIG Head of Insurance to lead and execute key strategic, operational, and market‑facing initiatives for the sector. This is a high‑visibility position that blends strategy, market intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and execution excellence.


What You’ll Do

Sector Strategy & Growth (40%)

Contribute to the development and implementation of the Insurance sector Business Plan. Work with account teams, solution teams, and alliance partners to drive strategic growth. Champion and promote the KPMG brand across social media and market-facing forums. Lead the regional marketing and communications plan for the sector. Bring the voice of the market into solution development and go‑to‑market initiatives. Support Account Lead Partners and broader KIG teams in identifying and converting growth opportunities. Co‑ordinate pitch support and debriefs for major opportunities. Manage sector‑related events, sponsorships, and community-building activities across the region.

Support to KIG Sector Head (30%)

Operate with full ownership and autonomy in managing sector calls and governance routines. Build strong cross‑border relationships across EMA and Global KIG networks . Drive collaboration and identify corridor opportunities across markets. Strengthen Client IQ by enhancing visibility on client needs and sector trends. Strengthen KPMG IQ by improving awareness of the firm’s in-demand capabilities. Keep country leads informed about priority sector opportunities . Maintain action logs and ensure accountability and disciplined execution .

Support for Priority & Growth Accounts (30%)

Prepare and lead regular calls for priority and growth accounts within the sector. Collaborate with country leads to gather market intelligence and insights . Partner with the sector head to run high-impact account discussions. Add value by contributing sector-specific insights, trends, and opportunity signals .


What We’re Looking For

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills. Experience in sector strategy, business development, marketing, or client management (Insurance experience is a plus). Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and navigate complex structures. Passion for market insights, collaboration, and driving measurable growth outcomes.
