Job Description

Sutherland is seeking a Technical Architect/Lead to join our Healthcare Digital Engineering team for automation initiatives. This role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of automation solutions, including software design, development, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Framework, Razor/MVC, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, AI/LLM integration, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep management updated: Should update the management on the status.
  • Impact the bottom line: Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations
  • Define Sutherland’s reputation: Oversee and manage performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction; provide coaching and feedback to CSRs
  • Strengthen relationships: Should work as a team and able to communicate effectively with customer and team members
  • Take the lead: Able to debug the production issue quickly and provide the root cause analysis with resolution for the issue.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you must:

Software developer with 7+ years of experience in .NET technologies.

Primary responsibilities

  • Define and implement end-to-end architecture across application, data, integration, DevOps, and Azure cloud services using .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and distributed system patterns.
  • Front end technologies: Angular, React, Node.js & Next.js
  • Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, Windsurf) for code generation, refactoring and automated SDLC workflows.
  • Analyze business requirements and lead the design and implementation of scalable, modern technology solutions.
  • Make high-level decisions on software architecture, technology frameworks, coding standards, and development tools.
  • Create technical documentation including high-level designs, class libraries, and architecture specifications.
  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • People should have experience in handling ALM tools like TFS, JIRA, etc...

Key competencies

  • Functional Domain: Exposure to the U.S Healthcare domain knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Process: Working experience in Agile SCRUM methodologies.
  • Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A
