Associate | Water Law
We are seeking a litigation associate with 7-10 years of water law and/or environmental law experience to join our Water Group in San Francisco or Los Angeles. Qualified candidates will have substantial experience drafting pleadings, briefs and motions in state and federal court, and discovery experience including taking/defending depositions and arguing motions. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects efficiently and collaboratively, take ownership over significant projects, and work well as a part of a team. We offer a collegial, hybrid work environment and excellent advancement opportunities for associates. All qualified candidates must be admitted to the State Bar of California. The salary range for the position of 7-10 Year Associate at Nossaman is $240,000 to $305,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Associates are also eligible for various annual bonuses including a bonus of 15% of base compensation should they meet Nossaman’s 1,850 annual billable hours expectation.
