Job Summary:

Increase automotive repairs in the field by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Duties:

Compile reports to determine which sales are eligible for the Remote Assisted Programming kit.

Outbound calls to Automotive shops to promote the program and inquire if shops are interested in taking advantage of the free service.

Ship Remoted Assisted Programming kits to various shops that opt into the program.

Track programming kits that are currently in use in the field and make outbound calls to recover the kits as needed.

Clean and inspect kits upon return for future use.

Requirements

Education & Experience: GED, 2 years Automotive Technical School or 2 years automotive repair experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position requires periods sitting in a cubicle setting as well as minimal time on the shop floor.

Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to details.

Working with a computer terminal and other electronic devices.
