Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support a U.S.-based homecare client. This role is focused on maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across multiple entities. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and other bookkeeping tools is essential.
You will play a key role in keeping financial operations organized, compliant, and up to date, working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Operations
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including bank and credit card reconciliations, expense categorization, accounts payable, deposits, and journal entries
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts with high accuracy
- Process and track credit card and ACH transactions (WorldPay or similar platforms)
- Ensure all financial records are complete, organized, and audit-ready
Financial Reporting & Recordkeeping
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and tax preparation support
- Consolidate financial data across 3–4 legal entities
- Support external accountants during audits and reviews
Payroll Support (Bookkeeping-Focused)
- Assist with payroll processing using systems such as ADP or Intuit Assisted Payroll
- Maintain payroll-related records and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate payroll data while ensuring accuracy and compliance
