Brand Director

This is a remote position.

This role will liaise with their clients and pitch strategies that align with the client’s goals. This role focuses on client satisfaction and client retention to build loyalty and strengthen MAG’s reputation. This role acts as an ambassador and will be the “face” of MAG.

Day to Day Duties
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. If the BM is the client's point of contact, the BD is the client's escalation point.
  • Oversee client milestone - Monitor the 30,60,90 day progress of the client

Milestone - Milestone Operations - Brand Management
  • Verify and resolve client pain points; identify ongoing issues in partnership with the Operations Director
  • Meet regularly with BM/OD to review client concerns only
  • Maintain traffic light reporting using the OD Traffic Light System SOP
  • Contribute to marketing: 2 hours of social posts weekly (shared in Slack) + 1 podcast per week (host, guest, or recorded video)
  • Lead retention: provide proposals, negotiate contracts, and pitch upgrades/upsells as needed
  • Monitor client satisfaction through quarterly surveys and recommend strategy improvements
  • Ensure client requirements and contract deliverables are met on time; lead team to drive strategy and new ideas
  • Stay familiar with clients’ business, competition, and goals to provide insights and solutions
  • Perform regular account audits, onboarding audits, and advertising audits following SOPs
  • Complete biweekly board reviews: confirm design tiers, workload across sections, timely task completion, milestone progress, and delegate callouts as needed

Requirements
  • 3+ years of Amazon Seller Central experience or comparable knowledge (flat files, inventory, FBA, reinstatements, case filing, PPC, brand registry, SEO, Helium10, keyword research, etc.)
  • Familiar with core Seller Central functions; not expert in all areas but willing to learn and train staff
  • 2+ years of agency experience preferred; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • 2+ years of management experience, including direct reports, hiring, and performance management
  • Skilled at leading teams, problem-solving, and anticipating organizational needs
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing Amazon agency environments with expert multitasking skills
  • Proficient with tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Asana (or similar)
  • Strong project management skills; highly organized and execution-focused
  • Experienced in managing client accounts, leading calls, and maintaining frequent client communication to drive growth
  • Independent, people-focused, tech-savvy, and passionate about eCommerce sales
