You will research, draft, and submit proposals, identify grant opportunities, and build and maintain relationships with key funding sources.</span></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:</b><ul><li>Market Research and Analysis</li><li>Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customers, partners, and emerging trends in electric aircraft charging and ground support equipment.</li><li>Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory factors to inform business strategies.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Business Strategy Development:</b><ul><li>Collaborate to define and refine business development strategies and goals for electric aircraft charging and ground support equipment.</li><li>Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Customer Engagement:</b><ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including aircraft operators, airports, Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), and aircraft manufacturers.</li><li>Understand customer needs to inform new product developments.</li><li>Coordinate project approval with all stakeholders.</li><li>Assist in improving the charging system engagement process.</li><li>Cold-call potential host sites.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Partnership and Alliances:</b><ul><li>Identify, develop, and establish strategic partnerships and collaborations with relevant industry players.</li><li>Leverage partnerships to enhance BETA's presence and capabilities in the electric aviation market.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Sales and Revenue Generation:</b><ul><li>Drive sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and deal closures.</li><li>Provide input to pricing strategies.</li><li>Track and manage opportunities within Salesforce to support accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance.</li><li>Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to electric aircraft charging and ground support equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b><ul><li>Minimum 5 years proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management in aerospace, EV charging, renewable energy, or similar technical industries.</li><li>Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) for opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and sales reporting.</li><li>Familiarity with technical proposals, RFP responses, or infrastructure project documentation.</li><li>Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel >50% to meet business needs throughout the Southeast region.</li><li>Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.</li><li>Understanding of aviation infrastructure, airport operations, or ground support equipment.</li><li>Experience working directly with Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), airports, or aviation service providers.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainable aviation.</li></ul><p><br></p><b>Above and Beyond Qualifications:</b><ul><li>Experience with electric charging infrastructure, airport planning, or aviation utility systems.</li><li>Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-ready proposal narratives and presentations.</li><li>Prior work with municipal airports, regional airlines, charter operators, or GA communities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p></p> <div>$135,000 - $165,000 a year</div><small><div><span style="font-size: 16px;">The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role.
