Certified eDiscovery Specialist / Functional Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Analyst / eDiscovery Specialist to join our legal and compliance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electronic discovery processes, ensuring the efficient collection, processing, review, and production of digital evidence in litigation and investigations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in eDiscovery tools, data management, and legal procedures to support our organization’s compliance and litigation needs. Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end eDiscovery workflows, including data collection, processing, review, and production of electronic evidence. • Utilize industry-standard eDiscovery software and platforms to facilitate efficient data handling. • Collaborate with legal teams to understand case requirements and develop tailored eDiscovery strategies. • Conduct data analysis and filtering to identify relevant information while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. • Ensure compliance with legal standards and organizational policies throughout the discovery process. • Maintain detailed documentation of all eDiscovery activities for audit purposes. • Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices within the eDiscovery field to continuously improve processes. • Provide training and support to team members on eDiscovery procedures and software tools. Requirements • Certification as an eDiscovery Specialist (e.g., Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) or equivalent). • Proven experience managing electronic discovery projects within a legal or corporate environment. • Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix, Logikcull, or similar tools. • Strong understanding of legal processes related to electronic evidence collection, preservation, review, and production. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance standards related to digital evidence handling. • Effective communication skills to liaise between technical teams and legal professionals.
