Visits with discharge planners, family members and members of the interdisciplinary team to promote the location and the use of services provided. Responsible for complying with all related laws, regulations, and policy/procedure. Educate members of healthcare team regarding trends, external regulations, and internal policies that affect resource utilization and potentially, prior authorization. Depending on location, enters data into Customer Referral Management (CRM) and the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately.
