Position Summary We are seeking a Clinical Education Consultant with experience in undergraduate nursing education to design realistic, high-impact clinical scenarios for an exciting new interactive learning platform. The ideal candidate has worked closely with nursing students, understands competency-based education, and deeply appreciates the learning challenges faced during nursing school and licensure preparation. You know how to turn complex clinical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand teaching moments that reflect authentic clinical reasoning and student-preceptor interactions. You will collaborate with Sketchy’s content team to ensure each case is clinically rigorous, instructionally sound, and aligned with the AACN Essentials and NCLEX test plan. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with educators to develop clinical simulation cases that reflect real-world patient care and nursing student needs. • Ensure content aligns with nursing competencies and reflects the most current clinical guidelines and best practices. • Design learning objectives, discussion prompts, and assessment questions that facilitate reflection and reasoning for nursing learners. • Craft realistic chart documentation, simulated patient interactions, and preceptor-student dialogues that teach prioritization, communication, and patient care. • Provide feedback and peer review of cases authored by other clinicians. • Review accompanying educational scripts, visuals, and multimedia for clinical and educational accuracy. • Support quality assurance testing of cases to ensure logical flow, interactivity, and instructional clarity. • Advocate for learner engagement and cognitive realism based on your experience teaching and supervising nursing students. • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to content strategy, prompt design, and generative AI case authoring. Qualifications: • Active, unencumbered RN license required • BSN required; MSN strongly preferred • Experience in undergraduate nursing education, including classroom teaching, clinical instruction, simulation facilitation, or curriculum development. • Strong writing skills and comfort with case-based and scenario-driven education. • Experience with AI tools, GPT, or prompt engineering is preferred but not required. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. • Creative, proactive, and passionate about innovating nursing education.
