**Overview** Bowman has an opportunity for a Cloud Engineer I to join our team remotely. As a Cloud Engineer I, you will play a key role within the cloud operations team, working closely with development, security, and engineering teams to ensure the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. **Responsibilities** • Leadership and Direction: + Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. + Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. * At the Operational and Company Level: + Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop the necessary resources, automation, and code to implement specified cloud solutions. + Work closely with support, security, architecture, and development teams to ensure seamless implementation and sustainment over the full lifecycle of the solution. + Lead operations teams in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving cloud-related issues. * Do the Work: + Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements. + Suggest and evaluate cloud operations best practices for cloud adoption, governance, security, and scalability. + Lead cloud migrations, modernization, and digital transformation project initiatives. + Develop and deploy cloud solution artifacts using infrastructure as code (IaC), DevOps, and arenaflex/CD in an enterprise cloud adoption framework (CAF) environment. * Success Metrics and Competencies: + Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. + Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners. + High degree of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential information. + Highly motivated and problem-solving attitude. + Strong sense of urgency in responding to constituents. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Strong work ethic and commitment to quality. + Self-reliance and ability to operate independently with limited direction. **Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Three or more (3+) years of experience in cloud engineering and operations in arenaflex Azure. * Strong understanding of cloud architecture and cloud security principles. * Solid understanding of zero trust and cloud security. * Proven experience in designing, building, and migrating Azure cloud solutions. * Strong knowledge of DevOps, Cl/CD, and automation in cloud environments. * Proficiency developing and deploying landing zone solutions using Azure cloud services including virtual machines, containers, applications, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity management. * Experience designing Azure solutions to meet the core pillars of the Well-Architected Framework (WAF). * Experience deploying and maintaining the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and associated Landing Zones. **Benefits** • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match • Paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays • Tuition reimbursement and professional development support • Discretionary bonuses and other performance-based incentives • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), wellness initiatives, and employee discounts • Eligibility for certain benefits may vary based on position, location, and employment status Apply tot his job
