CA Fresher – IT Consulting / ERP Advisory

Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA – Fresher) to join our IT Consulting practice. The role provides hands-on exposure to ERP implementations, finance transformation, and technology-enabled process optimization. You will work closely with finance and IT teams to support system implementations, reporting, controls, and business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

ERP & Technology Consulting

  • Support ERP implementation and support projects (Oracle / SAP / Other ERPs)
  • Assist in requirement gathering, functional documentation, and solution design
  • Participate in system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live support
  • Support data validation, reconciliations, and reporting activities

Finance & Accounting Support

  • Apply accounting knowledge to system design and validation
  • Support financial close, reporting, and reconciliation processes
  • Assist in revenue recognition, costing, and compliance requirements
  • Work with clients on process improvements and automation

Controls, Audit & Compliance

  • Support internal controls, SOX testing, and audit requirements
  • Assist in validating system controls and compliance with accounting standards
  • Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reviews

Stakeholder Collaboration & Learning

  • Work with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and Business users
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops
  • Continuously learn ERP systems, business processes, and consulting methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA – First Attempt preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and business processes
  • Interest in IT consulting, ERP systems, and digital transformation
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Articleship experience in audit, advisory, or ERP-related work
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) during articleship
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, data analytics, or reporting tools
