  • This job is part of the Integrated Marketing Strategy team within Global Marketing

  • Responsible for managing marketing communications plans for stakeholders across the company, which includes owned channel planning and collaboration with other marketing teams. Primary objectives include: building awareness of new and existing products and services, enhancing American’s brand perception, and increasing revenue

What you'll do


  • Work individually and with various teams to develop comprehensive marketing plans for various company and organizational initiatives by acting as the primary point of contact in Marketing

  • Evaluate the different marketing channels and the best way to execute across channels on a per campaign basis

  • Champions the brand’s tone of voice in all marketing assets, including copy and creative – often requires copywriting work with the support of other teams

  • Use Adobe dashboards to track marketing performance and develop insights from performance monitoring to deliver optimized future campaigns

  • Interact and collaborate with other groups including AAdvantage, Premium Guest Services, Onboard Products, Digital Content, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, Legal, Corporate Communications, Causes and Global Engagement – at all levels of the organization

  • Create owned channel marketing assets and submit for production/deployment

  • Project manage campaigns from start to finish and develop ongoing reports to deliver results for leadership

  • Must be willing to travel for business when needed

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training

  • 1 year marketing experience


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience




  • Prior experience working cross functionally across many different business units and with all levels of stakeholders




  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and familiarity with American's Marketing organization

  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups and develop relationships with key stakeholders

  • Creative, visual thinking skills with an ability to think \"outside the box\"

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
