Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional to play a critical role in safeguarding BTC’s extensive digital infrastructure, customer data, and operational continuity from evolving cyber threats. As a remote, full-time Cyber Security Analyst, you will be instrumental in monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents across our diverse IT and network environments. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting proactive security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security controls to mitigate risks. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to security. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and regulatory requirements, translating this knowledge into actionable security enhancements. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) for alerts, anomalies, and potential security incidents.
- Perform in-depth analysis of security events, logs, and network traffic to identify, investigate, and remediate security breaches.
- Execute vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in systems, applications, and networks.
