Your Role at impact.com: We are looking for a data expert at impact.com to lead our go-to-market data governance and quality initiatives with a lens of AI up-leveling. You won't just pull reports; you will own the integrity and governance of our GTM stack—from Salesforce to Gong—ensuring our data is seamless, standardized, and actionable. By bridging the gap between technical data modeling and real-world sales strategy, you’ll empower leadership with the high-fidelity insights needed to scale our growth. Responsibilities • GTM Data Ownership: Own all data integrity, standardization, and quality across the entire GTM stack, including Salesforce, Clari, SalesLoft, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator and others. • Lead Data Governance: Design, implement, and lead data governance policies (e.g., standard definitions, data dictionaries) specifically for core GTM entities (Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities). • Cross-System Data Quality: Establish and maintain automated checks and remediation processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy across all integrated systems. • Reporting & Insights: Develop complex SQL queries and BI visualizations to analyze GTM performance (funnel metrics, ROI) and report on the direct business impact of data quality issues. • Data Architecture Partnership: Collaborate with Data Engineering and Operations teams to define requirements for system integrations, data modeling, and infrastructure improvements. • Documentation & Maintenance: Create and rigorously maintain detailed data dictionaries, governance standards, and comprehensive documentation for all owned GTM data assets and processes. • Stakeholder Enablement: Partner directly with Sales and Marketing Operations to translate data quality findings into clear, actionable process and training updates for end-users. • AI-driven Mindset: Drive all decision making with an AI-drive approach with scalability at the forefront. Requirements • Experience: 4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role, with a strong focus on Marketing, Sales, or GTM operational data, preferably within a SaaS environment. • Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in SQL and demonstrable experience with a major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). Strong familiarity with the Salesforce data model is required. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience. • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage complex data conversations between technical and business teams.
