Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various databases and systems. Your keen attention to detail and strong computer skills will ensure the integrity of our data assets, supporting efficient operations and informed decision-making. Responsibilities

  • Enter and update data into multiple databases, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with accuracy and efficiency
  • Verify data accuracy by reviewing source documents, transcriptions, and existing records
  • Maintain organized filing systems for physical and digital documents, ensuring easy retrieval of information
  • Perform data collection tasks from various sources, ensuring completeness and correctness
  • Utilize pivot tables and other Excel tools to analyze data sets and generate reports as needed
  • Assist with order entry processes, ensuring timely processing of transactions
  • Support clerical duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and basic math calculations related to data processing

Experience

  • Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office environment with a focus on data entry or related tasks
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience working with databases, ERP systems, or similar software platforms is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with data transcription, filing procedures, and organizational techniques
  • Basic math skills for verifying numerical data and performing simple calculations
  • Prior experience in office administration or data collection roles is advantageous
