**Data Operations Assistant**: - Salary - ** Competitive Salary Plus Benefits** - Location - ** Worksop** - Contract Type - ** Permanent** - Contracted Hours - ** 39** **The Vacancy** We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Central Retail team as a **Data Operations Assistant** based at our support centre with a minimum of 2 days a week either in an office or a wilko site and the rest remotely. As our **Data Operations Assistant, **you’ll enable stores to practically manage and schedule their people resource by effectively maintaining the store operating model to reflect all changes, processes and scenarios. You’ll help with developing new reports as well as improving old processes to drive an improvement in the data already accessible to the business Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve using various systems including Qlikview, Qliksense to extract information required to produce the reports and models. You’ll resolve any queries relating to the reports on a timely basis. Along with: - You’ll be responsible for prioritising and responding to feedback ensuring that any action undertaken has the end user in mind. - Collaborating with wider business to identify and understand the workload challenges. - Building test scenarios within the salary allocation model in conjunction with the Salary Allocation Manger on any process changes and ensure our stakeholders are fully informed and aware of the scale and scope of the impact of implementing the change - Working in conjunction with our Continuous Improvement team to test labour standard scenarios ensuring the models of efficient and or costs savings can be recommended and these are put forward to the business - Maintaining an understanding of the store operating model through visiting stores and asking for feedback from team members ensuring the model truly reflects stores processes and procedures. - Managing and dealing with ad hoc based requests. For this role we need someone who has at least 1 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in accounting and finance, who has demonstrable analytical and numerical skills with a proven track record of creating and maintaining strong working relationships. Someone who is proficient in using Microsoft programmes such as Excel; is highly organised, who can work to tight deadlines, has a problem-solving approach and is confident at communicating at all levels.
