Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Female Deputy Center Manager for a nursery based in Dubai. This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for ensuring excellence in daily operations, parent management, curriculum implementation, KHDA compliance, staff supervision, hygiene standards, and regulatory adherence.

The Deputy Center Manager must be independently capable of managing operations and representing the nursery professionally in the absence of the Center Manager or Business Development Manager.

1. Daily Operations Management (Top Priority)

Oversee and manage all daily nursery operations.

Ensure zero lapses in hygiene, safety, supervision, and security.

Conduct hourly monitoring of classrooms and common areas.

Ensure strict adherence to operational workflows and policies.

Supervise attendance records and daily temperature logs.

Monitor cleanliness and sanitation standards continuously.

Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

Handle parent complaints professionally and promptly.

Maintain daily communication with existing parents.

Resolve concerns calmly and effectively.

Conduct nursery tours for prospective parents.

Independently conduct professional nursery tours in the absence of the Center Manager or Business Development Manager.

Confidently present the nursery curriculum, policies, facilities, and operational standards during tours.

Support admissions coordination and follow-ups when required.

2. KHDA Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

Ensure full compliance with KHDA rules, regulations, and procedures.

Maintain the nursery in continuous KHDA inspection readiness.

Update new student records accurately on the KHDA portal.

Follow up with KHDA for approvals and documentation.

Ensure policies and procedures align with KHDA guidelines.

Maintain complete regulatory documentation.

Ensure timely updates and compliance submissions.

3. Curriculum & Academic Supervision

Ensure proper implementation of the nursery curriculum.

Monitor lesson planning and classroom activities.

Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback.

Guide teachers to maintain high educational standards.

Ensure curriculum aligns with KHDA expectations.

Preferred Qualification: CACHE Level 3 or Level 5 (Early Years).

4. Staff Leadership & Documentation Control

Manage teachers, assistant teachers, and care assistants.

Conduct daily briefings and supervision.

Monitor staff performance and policy compliance.

Maintain updated staff records on KHDA portal and internal systems.

Track document expiries (visa, Emirates ID, health card, qualifications, insurance).

Ensure timely renewals and compliance.

Train new staff on policies, hygiene, safeguarding, and operations.

5. Fee Records & Administrative Oversight

Maintain accurate student data and fee records.

Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding fees.

Send reminders on monthly, termly, half-yearly, and yearly basis.

Maintain structured documentation and reporting.

6. Technology & Systems Competency (Mandatory)

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting.

Efficient in using parent communication applications.

Maintain structured digital records.

Generate operational and compliance reports.

Comfortable using internal nursery management systems.

Mandatory Requirements

Female candidate.

Minimum 5–7 years of UAE nursery experience.

In-depth knowledge of KHDA regulations.

Strong daily operational management experience.

Strong parent-handling capability.

Ability to independently manage operations and conduct tours in leadership absence.

Strong hygiene and safeguarding knowledge.

Proven team leadership experience.

Bachelor’s Degree mandatory.

CACHE Level 3 or Level 5 preferred.
