DevOps Engineer U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED

Ignite IT is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in supporting the development, testing, and deployment of web applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines; ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab arenaflex/CD, or similar • Collaborate with development teams to develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices • Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems by monitoring and troubleshooting issues, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations • Work with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications into production environments • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to improve the overall development lifecycle • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Experience with containerization using Docker or similar technology • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or arenaflex Cloud Platform • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack • Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing • Experience with configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Effective communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Certification in DevOps engineering (e.g., Certified DevOps Engineer) or a related field • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations Ignite IT offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package to include Medical, Dental, and Vision; Short Term/Long Term/Life Insurance; 401K with matching and fully Vested 100%; PTO; Holiday; Training; and much more… Ignite IT is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
