DevSecOps Engineer, Remote Job

Who We Are We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure security and network security management to help us secure and optimize our systems at scale. In this role, you will lead efforts to harden our cloud environment, enforce secure arenaflex/CD practices, and build proactive defense mechanisms across our cloud infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone passionate about automating security, monitoring cloud threats, and securing complex network architectures in a fast-moving environment. What You’ll Get Your Hands On • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient architectures across AWS and GCP. Manage IAM, roles, and policies while enforcing least-privilege access. • Configure and manage AWS security services (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, Config, CloudTrail, WAF) to monitor, alert, and respond to infrastructure threats. • Oversee secure network configurations including VPC peering, NACLs, security groups, VPNs, and private endpoints. Lead efforts to detect and prevent unauthorized access across hybrid and cloud-native environments. • Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security with minimal disruption, and promote security best practices. • Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our security posture. The Magic You Bring • 3+ years in a related role, with proven experience in DevOps, security, and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS). • Strong knowledge of AWS services, IAM, network architecture, and cloud-native security tools. • Deep experience in configuring and securing cloud networks, VPNs, and VPCs. • Solid understanding of arenaflex/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and secure DevOps practices. • Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO27001. • Extensive knowledge of API Security, Container Security, and AWS Cloud Security. • Excellent analytical abilities and strong interpersonal skills to communicate technical information clearly at all levels of the organization. Bonus Points if You Have • Familiarity with security automation processes and machine learning applications in security. • Relevant security certifications such as AWS Certified Security, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
