Description Position Purpose: Responsible for the management, enhancements, usability, and ongoing development of the website(s) for a department or business unit. Manages web business needs and problems, database design development, and internet/intranet maintenance. Utilizes web design knowledge and research to develop business strategies. Oversees other related support functions including project coordination, research, and communications functions. Logistics: This position is full-time remote if within driving distance of One Century Plaza in Nashville, TN. (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. What You’ll Do: • Manage website development, content, projects, enhancements, and associated coordination. Interprets and initiates actions to meet customer requirements. Oversee the web support team or web support function to ensure effective application development/project as well as communication with internal/external customers. Provide direction related to business support services, communications, and functionality. • Contribute to the strategic direction of the web team by providing business analysis and project direction, working with information systems to manage testing/implementation. Analyzes/research statistics, trends and best practices to determine the strategic direction of the website. Make recommendations for internet/intranet and other business improvements/opportunities to remain competitive with others in the industry and/or other related websites. • Manage development/modification of relevant materials that aid in sales or marketing initiatives. Plans, coordinates, and supervises business related events such as meetings, conferences, collaborations and seminars, etc. • Troubleshoot web issues with internet/intranet sites. Reviews website content to ensure compliance with any contractual guidelines. To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need: Required Education: • A Bachelor’s Degree. Required Work Experience: • 5 years of experience in internet/intranet website design, maintenance, and management including 2 years of related business writing experience in a creative environment. Required Skills and Abilities: • Comprehensive knowledge of internet and intranet technologies and web site content design. • Strong business writing, editing, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. • In-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices, and techniques for managing the activities related to planning and implementing website projects and enhancements. • Strong organization, analytical and communication skills. • Knowledge of arenaflex Office applications.
