Director, Global Job Architecture

Meta is seeking a Director of Global Job Architecture to join our Total Rewards Organization (TRO). This role will lead the end-to-end strategy, design, implementation, and governance of Meta’s global Job Architecture, with a core focus on evolving our job architecture to support an AI-Native organization. As we continue to evolve our organization, our Job Architecture must enable agility, innovation, and rapid growth for our teams and employees. This role will drive large-scale strategic transformation, collaborate across diverse teams, and ensure our job architecture and skills framework are forward-thinking, future-proof, aligned with market trends, and designed to deliver a competitive edge.


Director, Global Job Architecture Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ongoing evolution, development and governance of Meta’s global Job Architecture framework, ensuring it is future-ready, market-aligned, and supports an AI-native organization and alignment to our compensation philosophy and strategy
  • Drive large-scale transformation initiatives and guide change management efforts, proactively educating and engaging stakeholders to ensure adoption and trust in job architecture processes
  • Oversee the implementation, governance and maintenance of job profiles, leveling, and related processes to ensure consistency, clarity, and scalability for evolving business needs
  • Integrate cutting-edge methodologies of job analysis and skills frameworks that capture the evolving influence of AI and human-AI collaboration on work design and compensation strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally to design, validate, implement, and continuously enhance job architecture strategies and practices, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and compliant with regulatory standards



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years’ of experience in people functions with deep expertise in job architecture, leveling, and compensation strategy
  • 5+ years leading job architecture programs at scale
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven experience leading and developing teams, with a strong track record of effective people management
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex organizational transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to anticipate future trends, especially in AI and human capital, and design frameworks that enable agility and innovation
  • A relationship builder and influencer, able to drive alignment and change cross highly matrixed, global organizations
  • Ability to synthesize complex data, market insights, and business needs into actionable strategies
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a foresight capacity within a large, complex organization, with a specific focus on job architecture or organizational design
  • Demonstrated ability to lead innovative talent solutions from ideation and piloting through to successful, scaled implementation
  • Expertise in designing skills-based organizations and the impact of AI on the future of work

$230,000/year to $293,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
