EMEA Strategy Director

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional EMEA Strategic Director to join our Team based in Stabio, Switzerland.   Let’s talk about the role!      The new position will be involved in: Business Strategy: Identify growth and transformation opportunities for VF EMEA at the platform and brand level. Work closely with VF’s business leaders to address critical strategic questions, frame choices, help activate and drive execution. Strategic Planning: Support VP in driving annual strategic planning process for the platform (V2MOM definition and activation), connect strategic platform choices with investment prioritization and activation of key projects, support long-range planning. Brand Strategy: Partner with brand teams in EMEA to influence and shape long-term brand strategies and brand building frameworks (e.g., segmentation, positioning), provide support to brand teams (Vans, TNF as priority) in activation of brand strategy. Portfolio Strategy: Support VP in scoping and driving relevant portfolio choices, including Emerging Brands portfolio reviews, and other corporate development efforts. Insights and Intelligence: Scope, plan, and leverage consumer insights and market intelligence capabilities to improve quality and relevance of strategic choices; effectively partner with Insights teams to mobilize resources and activate learnings. Skills for Success • Effective influencing skills: ability to build relationships and influence business leaders, and to lead diverse teams to action independently of reporting lines • Analytical problem-solving: ability to frame complex business choices, identify key decision drivers, leverage analyses to provide recommendations • Critical thinking: ability to combine business rigor and creative thinking, outside-in perspectives and VF business understanding, propensity to question the status quo • Powerful communication: ability to communicate persuasively, both verbally and written; ability to influence others through quantitative and qualitative data • Self-starter, with proven ability to “get stuff done” across multiple constituents (from senior executives to middle management) Qualifications: • Solid exp in corporate strategy, brand management, and/or experience in management consulting firm with a focus on consumer industries (e.g., consumer goods, retail) • Experience in providing decision support to senior business leaders, translating strategic choices into actionable plans, leading execution across complex organizations. • Demonstrated experience in partnering with / leveraging work of Insights and Analytics teams (e.g., value pools, market dynamics, brand health, customer base dynamics) • MBA or graduate education in Business, Economics, Finance, or Management disciplines preferred.
