English Audio Validation (Transcription) – C1 English - Freelancers Needed

We are hiring highly proficient English speakers for an upcoming audio validation project expected to begin in January 2026. The work involves reviewing pre-segmented, pre-transcribed English audio clips and ensuring the transcription, speaker turns, and annotations meet strict quality and formatting standards.

What the Work Involves

1) Validate short English audio clips within a dedicated platform

2) Check accuracy of transcription, punctuation, formatting, and speaker labels

3) Follow detailed linguistic guidelines shared by the client

4) Maintain 95–98% accuracy across all tasks

5) Provide clear, consistent corrections where needed

Project Details

1) Total expected volume: 8000+ hours

2) ~3 minutes each audio clips

3) Continuous work, with weekly or monthly inflow

4) All tasks completed entirely on the platform

5) Strict quality benchmarks and evaluation procedures

Mandatory Requirement

C1 English proficiency

All candidates must first complete an online English proficiency test and obtain a C1 certificate before being considered for task allocation. We will share the app link.

Qualification Process

The onboarding process consists of two steps:

Step 1: English Test

- You will take a short online test to obtain a C1 English certificate.

- Only candidates who achieve C1 will proceed to the next stage.

Step 2: Work on a Three-Minute Audio Clip

- Qualified linguists will be invited to work on a brief audio validation task (approximately three minutes). A contract will be created at that stage. This allows us to assess accuracy, understanding of the guidelines, and ability to work with the platform.

- The final rates and engagement terms will be negotiated once the project officially goes live in January.

a) Strong command of English (near-native level)

b) Strong attention to detail and listening ability

c) Prior transcription, annotation, linguistic, or QA experience is helpful

d) Reliable, responsive, and able to follow structured guidelines

e) Comfortable working on accuracy-driven projects
