The Role:

We are looking for our first-ever Enterprise Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing GitKraken’s largest enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in account management and a proven track record of driving revenue. You’ll be creating expansion opportunities for GitKraken within developer-centric organizations and educating enterprise clients on how GitKraken’s products can transform their business.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management roles with a proven track record of success
  • Experience selling to developer audiences, with strong knowledge on how they work and their technology stack 
  • Familiarity with dev tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Microsoft’s Azure DevOps or Visual Studio, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing growth strategies within existing customers
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Dev and DevOps technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box to find creative solutions 


What you'll do:

  • Build and expand relationships and awareness of GitKraken within disparate teams at select existing customers covered by the Account Manager
  • Identify and document business goals, technology stack, and how customers are using GitKraken’s Dev Tools & Planning tools
  • Increase adoption of GitKraken’s features and products through the implementation of an outreach strategy leveraging champions within a customer
  • Help us craft a winning playbook as one of our early Account Managers
  • Advocate for customer needs for training and specific adoption & expansion inhibitors 
  • Advocate for the overall health of the relationship with GitKraken, acting proactively to address issues and concerns
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success/Support, and Finance to ensure customer questions are addressed promptly


Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with regulated industries or security-conscious companies (GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001, on-prem solutions)
  • Previous experience in a startup environment, in which the playbook is still being written and new challenges are being solved
  • Experience with product telemetry/analytics to inform decisions

Location:

GitKraken is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and while we would like to have candidates be local to the Scottsdale office, we understand that talent and drive are much more important than location. We will consider strong candidates from anywhere in the US who apply for this role.
