The Opportunity

This specialist role will be based in our new office location in Hyderabad and will report into the Regional Head of Enterprise Security, APAC. The position is highly operational in nature, with a primary focus on establishing and supporting physical security operations at the Hyderabad - Eyeline site. It requires close day-to-day coordination with local teams and vendors, and hands-on implementation of global security programs and standards at the site level. In addition to driving local execution, the role will contribute to broader regional efforts across India and the APAC region, including incident management, event security support, and cross-functional operational alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of physical security operations in the Hyderabad office, including access control, guard force management, and visitor handling.

  • Act as the primary liaison for day-to-day physical security needs at the site.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining security procedures and SOPs aligned with Netflix’s global standards.

  • Support emergency response and incident management strategy and execution.

  • Monitor and manage guard force operations, including vendor coordination and performance reviews.

  • Partner with Workplace and cross-functional teams to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming operational environment.

  • Provide support for high-profile visits and events as needed.

  • Coordinate and support physical security operations in other India locations, and assist with APAC-wide efforts when required.

  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and metrics for ongoing evaluation and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate security and operational management i.e. Guard force and Emergency response

  • Bachelor’s degree required (or higher), relevant certifications (ex. CPP) a plus 

  • General understanding of security systems (cameras, card readers, visitor management, etc.)

  • Understanding of the local market and access to quality vendors

  • Effective operator in a fast-moving environment; able to shift focus and support evolving needs.

  • Strong working knowledge of regulations and cultural nuisance.

  • Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent manner.

  • Ability to be discreet and handle confidential information.

  • Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly.

  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Gdrive, MS Word, Excel. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
