We are innovators, committed to redesigning and improving public services to fulfil our purpose to impact a better future by "Bringing National Visions to Life".<br>Your Opportunity<br>We are currently bidding for a new prestigious Facilities Management project in Abu Dhabi, UAE and we are looking for an Environment, Health & Safety Officer who will be responsible for the implementation of systems / programs to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all staff, visitors, clients and contractors.<br>Key Accountabilities<br>Drive the HSQE risk management process within the company, provide support and educate staff in risk analysis/hazard identification, and review and development of policies, procedures.<br>Identify training needs and provide HSE training to staff, including annual testing of emergency responses.<br>Participate in external and internal audits of this system as required. Communicate, report and monitor Serco’s Health and Safety KPIs and performance objectives to the line manager.<br>Promote a positive health and safety culture within client facility<br>Identify heath and safety requirements/improvements<br>Help resolve any health and safety issues to an acceptable outcome<br>Monitor the performance of Serco’s health, safety and quality programs<br>Assist in implementing Serco’s EHS Management System<br>Specific Requirements<br>Practical experience in the principal EHS functions<br>NEBOSH Certificate IV or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety<br>Good knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001<br>Sound computer skills<br>Commercially aware<br>Good command of English language<br>Knowledge of large operational transport projects<br>Project management qualification/experience<br>Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green / Black Belt preferred.<br>What’s in it for you?<br>At Serco, our core values drive everything we do, and we believe in fairly compensating our colleagues for the value they bring to our organization.
