Key ResponsibilitiesProvide ongoing support for the Prophet 21 ERP system and end users.Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and perform root cause analysis, including working with Epicor support for bug resolution.Administer the P21 and SQL Server environments, including monitoring, upgrades, and patch management.Manage and support changes across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments, including security and user access.Develop and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and SQL queries.Optimize SQL queries and database performance for improved efficiency and response time.Support both the desktop and web UI versions of P21.Assist in training users and creating user documentation.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement best practices within P21.Create, modify, and maintain custom solutions including BAQs, Dynachange modifications, business rules, and portals.Support system integration with third-party solutions.Ensure compliance with change control procedures and proper documentation.Copy and maintain development and test environments.Analyze business processes and recommend automation and efficiency improvements.Maintain standard operating procedures and documentation of ERP processes.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system.Strong proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design.Experience with Crystal Reports development and maintenance.Proven track record in ERP administration, troubleshooting, and user support.Ability to manage upgrades, patches, and version control in P21 environments.Understanding of business processes and how they relate to ERP functionality.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Experience in supporting application security and managing user roles and permissions.
