We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Manager with a passion for and experience in creating unique and memorable events. Working in collaboration and partnership with various members of the Lifestyle team, events will range from Michelin Guide Ceremonies to partner events, dinners and activations.<br><br>This position requires tactics to deliver the event objectives and includes managing multiple events of various scope simultaneously. You will work with internal and external partners on creative development and collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and support roles to assist in the production of the event. Your tasks include selecting and coordinating event venues, managing all logistics, ensuring event safety and security, and maintaining budgets with adherence to our brand guidelines and standards. You will also coordinate pre- and post-event communications as needed with participants and partners and track key metrics to assess event success, providing reports to partners and the team following the event. If you embody values such as respect for people, teamwork, and trust, we invite you to consider joining us at Michelin, where excellence is not just a goal but a way of life.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate all phases of event planning from concept to execution including but not limited to venue or restaurant selection, catering and menu curation, audio-visual requirements, communications, decor, branded/printed elements, production/run of show timelines, and event registration.</li><li>Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.</li><li>Successful leadership of a project team and coordination of interested parties through the organization of meetings to ensure alignment and communication flow.</li><li>Lead efforts in the implementation of offers with external partners managing the deployment of the events from design to post event satisfaction in collaboration with the client and internal team member.</li><li>Collaborate closely with key team members and partners both inside and outside the organization in providing logistical details, operational timelines to ensure successful event execution.</li><li>Assist in expanding relationships with existing partners by proposing and arranging solutions that meet their needs and requirements to drive mutual growth.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored partnership proposals and strategies that align with the brand's objectives and our company's goals.</li><li>Analyze event success against key performance indicators and implement improvements for future events.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned events, providing outstanding customer service and the ability troubleshoot in real time ensuring high production standards along with seamless execution.</li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives to drive revenue growth.</li><li>Travel required – including weekends.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Bring<br><br></strong>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.<br><br>5+ years of Event Management experience with preference in the luxury brand space.<br><br>Familiarity with Michelin Guide restaurants and chef community a plus.<br><br>Demonstrated experience leading high profile/luxury, multi-format events with discerning clientele.<br><br>Deep respect for culinary excellence and service standards .<br><br>Tasteful attention to details and aesthetics and passion for the guest experience .<br><br>Strong organizational skills and understanding of the event production life cycle including concepting, budgeting, communication and project management.<br><br>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with key contributors and partners.<br><br>Confidence in identifying potential hurdles in the planning process along with strong problem-solving skills.<br><br>Excellent time management skills along with a capacity to prioritize tasks.<br><br>Critical thinking mentality demonstrating skill in developing and delivering innovative events to further our partnership strategies.<br><br>Ability to work effectively within a team, yet also individually, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<br><br>Spanish and/or French language skills are a plus.
