About the Role We're seeking an experienced Customer Retention Specialist to join our Xfinity Remote Careers team, supporting arenaflex Business Services in their efforts to retain our existing customer base. As a key member of our team, you will work with existing customers who are requesting disconnect of service or have been identified as being at high risk of churn. Your primary goal will be to empathize with clients, resolve outstanding issues, and renegotiate the terms of their agreement to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Core Responsibilities Use active listening and empathy to assume ownership of customer issues and drive resolution. Communicate a professional sense of urgency with various departments to rectify customer issues promptly. Minimize churn by strategically offering product bundles and price points that meet customers' budget and business needs, expanding their product mix with arenaflex. Proactively contact clients at high propensity churn points in their lifecycle (e.g., 3-6 months prior to contract expiration, after successive service calls) to ensure customer satisfaction and re-contract/extend customer relationships where appropriate. Support value our customer campaigns, such as customer satisfaction surveys, contract renewals, and other initiatives. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A strong background in customer-facing roles, preferably in the telecommunications or media industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and communicate effectively with various departments. A customer-centric approach, with a proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate guidance in your area of knowledge. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer issues and develop effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, communications). Previous experience in a retention or sales role, preferably in the telecommunications or media industry. Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, or willingness to learn. Experience working in a remote or flexible work environment.
