Experienced Remote Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Customer Care and Medication Management Specialist

Job Overview As a Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, handling incoming and outgoing calls, and collaborating with our clinical team to resolve complex issues. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls from Customer Care associates on a daily basis, maintaining assigned metrics and providing exceptional customer service Make outbound calls for various purposes, including urgent situations deemed critical by our clinical pharmacist team Assist the clinical pharmacist team with outgoing calls to healthcare providers, pharmacies, and customers, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution Provide guidance and feedback to Customer Care Associates, utilizing a consultative approach to continually develop staff knowledge and expertise Complete tickets to support the Customer Care Team and Clinical RPh team, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution Maintain an advanced understanding of all arenaflex policies and procedures, as well as our products and services, to provide accurate and informed support Monitor and process all help desk assigned tasks on a daily basis, ensuring efficient and effective issue management Act as the primary point of contact for escalated calls by Customer Care Associates, handling complex issues and following through until resolution has been met Manage the reporting of customer complaints, providing resolution per set SLA's and escalating as appropriate to ensure prompt and effective issue resolution Investigate and report pharmacy errors, collaborating with the clinical team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Learn and stay up-to-date on pharmacy laws and regulations nationwide, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards Serve as a point of contact for any system or technology/software outages, notifying all appropriate parties and collaborating to resolve issues promptly Maintain confidentiality of all customer information, adhering to strict data protection and privacy protocols Work autonomously and proactively identify areas in need of improvement, collaborating with the team to implement process enhancements and optimize customer care Constantly collaborate with teammates, fostering a culture of open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork Demonstrate a customer-centric approach and commitment to quality, ensuring that every interaction with customers and internal stakeholders reflects the highest standards of excellence Work a flexible schedule, with shifts potentially starting and ending outside of normal business hours, to ensure seamless coverage and support Perform other tasks assigned while working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow Essential Qualifications Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License (including Pharmacy Technician, Trainee, and Assistant Licenses) High school or equivalent diploma Preferred Qualifications National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member, with a strong track record of collaboration and teamwork Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and clinical practices 6+ months of relevant experience working with computer and web-based tools, with proficiency in software applications and technology systems Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment, consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality while maintaining a customer-centric approach Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
