About the Role: Senior Collector and Customer Service Representative We're seeking an experienced Senior Collector and Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Senior Collector, you will play a critical role in managing high-risk accounts, controlling loss rates, and reducing gross charge-offs. Your expertise in collections, skip tracing, and credit analysis will be essential in helping our customers navigate complex financial situations. Key Responsibilities: Collect on high-risk accounts to control loss rates and reduce gross charge-offs, with varying levels of collections assigned based on business needs Perform in-depth skip tracing as required by account, leveraging internal resources to obtain customer-specific information Provide guidance and training to team members as necessary, serving as a mentor and subject matter expert Quickly identify irregularities in spending, possible identity theft, or fraud, and take appropriate action Generate and send various customer-facing communications regarding account activity, ensuring timely and effective communication Assist customers in a professional and empathetic manner, interpreting their financial situation, reason for delinquency, and providing guidance to limit loss to the bank Negotiate repayment options by asking questions and offering applicable solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention Handle incoming and outgoing calls to customers with current and past due accounts, leaving messages as necessary and maintaining a high level of customer service Provide proper documentation and account maintenance, ensuring quality assurance and productivity standards are met Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need: Familiarity with inbound/outbound/blended dialing environments and collections software, such as TSYS, SHAW, and Debt Management software Basic understanding of Debt Settlement and Consumer Credit Counseling programs, with the ability to read and understand a consumer's credit profile Ability to train team members and serve as a mentor, with excellent customer service skills and a high degree of confidentiality Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with an optimistic outlook, aligned with our culture and Core Values Basic level proficiency with arenaflex Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a strong foundation in finance, accounting, or a related field 2+ years of collections experience, with a proven track record of success in managing high-risk accounts and reducing loss rates 1+ year of skip tracing and/or credit bureau experience, with a deep understanding of credit analysis and reporting Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping you grow and develop in your career.
