<p>As a <b>Facility Technician</b> you will be responsible for providing support for Terminal operations in Tacoma and Renton, Washington. You will participate as an integral team member and will be a key contributor to the organization from a support capacity. A successful Operator has a positive attitude and an aptitude for learning. A Technical/Operator Training Program is available. This position will be based out of Tacoma, WA.</p> <p>This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. Your assessment results will be valid for one year.</p> <p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p> <li>Performing and providing technical support for installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and rotating equipment.</li>
<li>Performing planned maintenance checks and calibrations and submitting appropriate reports in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Coordinating activities as needed to assist in the receipt, storage, and delivery of petroleum products.</li>
<li>Performing operational duties in accordance with Phillips 66 operating and procedures guides and local operating procedures guides.</li>
<li>Identifying and promptly communicating operational and equipment problems and completing trouble reports.</li>
<li>Performing troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, calibrations, and replacement of equipment as necessary.</li>
<li>Performing equipment monitoring and maintenance documentation.</li>
<li>Monitoring and enforcing safety rules.</li>
<li>Assisting with construction and maintenance projects.</li>
<li>Writing and reviewing work permits associated with construction or maintenance in operating areas.</li>
<li>Supervising and providing direction to contract crews.</li>
<li>Completing and maintaining required safety and regulatory training.</li>
<li>Acquiring operator qualifications, as required.</li>
<li>Performing environmental and regulatory inspections (eliminating, containing and reporting all product seeps and spills).</li>
<li>Complying with all applicable OSHA safety regulations to include P66 safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintaining facility emergency equipment.</li>
<li>Identifying and pursuing improvement opportunities.</li>
<li>Coordinate and monitor tank product transfers and receipts to ensure safe and efficient operations.</li>
<li>Coordinate vessel tie-up activities and monitor ship-to-shore transfers in accordance with safety and environmental protocols.</li>
<li>Perform product quality testing and provide oversight of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.</li> <p><b>What You’ll Bring – Required</b></p> <li>Legally authorized to work in the job posting country</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Must maintain a valid driver's license</li>
<li>To travel up to 5% of the time, based on business needs.</li>

<li>Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations: To climb various ladders and stairs to operate valves, gauge tanks, or perform maintenance on equipment are a part of this position. The ladders and stairs range from 5 to 40 feet in height To raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds
To walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain To work alone a high percentage of the time To work overtime or shift work on an as-needed basis

To perform firefighting duties </li> <p><b>What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred</b></p> <li>Associate’s degree in Electrical Maintenance, Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics</li>
<li>Technical Certification in Process Technology</li>
<li>3 or more years of direct operational experience in the oil and gas, or related, industry</li>
<li>Intermediate proficiency (perform the skill with limited assistance) with MS Office and SAP</li>
<li>Experience with the following: Meter Proving experience
Accuload III experience Allen-Bradley PLC's Rosemount Transmitters OMNI flow computer
Vapor Recovery Unit / Vapor Combustor Unit Other general pipeline knowledge Mechanical and rotating equipment experience </li> <p><b>Compensation Range </b></p>

<p>The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals.
