Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and diligent Factory Workers to join our dynamic manufacturing unit in Kwale County. As a Factory Worker, you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be involved in various stages of production, from raw material handling to operating machinery and conducting quality checks on finished products. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Load and unload raw materials, components, and finished products using appropriate handling equipment.
  • Perform routine quality checks on products at various stages of production, identifying and reporting any defects.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and health and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the factory floor.
  • Assist with basic machine setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance tasks as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
  • Accurately complete production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues promptly.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English or Swahili.
  • Basic numeracy skills for counting and record-keeping.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects (up to 25kg), and stand for extended periods.
