The role involves overseeing overdue accounts, driving timely payments, and guiding the collections team to achieve recovery targets while maintaining positive customer relationships and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the collections team to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments Review customer accounts and aging reports to identify overdue balances and prioritize follow-ups Ensure regular customer contact through calls, emails, and visits to negotiate payment arrangements Build and maintain strong customer relationships while firmly enforcing payment terms and deadlines Oversee accurate documentation of collection activities and customer interactions in the system Approve and manage payment settlements, discounts, and structured payment plans Ensure adherence to company policies, DRA guidelines, and regulatory compliance Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts Identify and resolve payment blockers such as billing disputes or documentation issues Address escalated customer concerns related to billing, payment plans, and account statements Track team performance, prepare MIS reports, and drive continuous process improvements Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in collections or recovery management Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Good understanding of collection practices, compliance, and customer handling Ability to manage escalations and meet recovery targets DRA certification preferred
