Develop and execute strategies to protect and increase market share.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with GO marketing team to develop strategies & messages that will resonate with local Athletes and drive traffic to the new store.</p></li><li><p>Partner with the national marketing team to effectively communicate campaigns, media buys and initiatives to the Store teams.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate the effectiveness of local marketing strategies, tactics, and programs and provide feedback to influence the evolution of programs, systems, and processes.</p><p></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Partnership Development</p><ul><li><p>Drive traffic & revenue by cultivating strong relationships in the community through negotiating sponsorships with sports organizations from youth to collegiate.</p></li><li><p>Promote our assets (such as GameChanger, Sideline Swap, In-Store Services, assortment, promotions) to sponsorship partners and in the local community to enhance the Athlete experience and leverage our competitive advantage.</p></li><li><p>Actively build and support local partnerships and own local relationship for national partnerships and activating the partnership in the local market.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the National Partnerships and Activations team on event strategies, tactical plans and post-event analysis for programs like Licensed Hot Market, product launches, appearances, etc.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Donations and Giving</p><ul><li><p>Manage tiered giving program within territory.</p></li><li><p>Serve as local brand ambassador for DICK’S Foundation by nominating leagues, teams and organizations in need of Foundation grants and distributing the grant upon approval.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Organizational Process Execution</p><ul><li><p>Deliver level of excellence and professionalism on all relationships, events, and programs. Be the face of our brand in your local community.</p></li><li><p>Mange Field Marketing Budget for designated markets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI</p></li><li><p>Develop relationships with vendors, sales reps, and service organizations that do business with our company.</p></li><li><p>Serve as approved media trained Associate capable of talking to media on behalf of DICK’S as needed.</p><p></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Lead & Coach</p><ul><li><p>Lead Local HOS Marketing Specialist responsible for building community relationships and activating strategies that uniquely position House of Sport within the chain and marketplace.</p></li><li><p>Provides leadership and professional development to ensure that their team and larger Field Marketing team develop skill sets and meets or exceed team and company goals.</p></li><li><p>Lead cross-functional initiatives designed to drive Local marketing opportunities and coach/education cross-functional business partners.</p><p></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree (4-year college degree) in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or Communications</p></li><li><p>3-5 years of related experience as a regional or company merchandiser or marketing professional in a retail or multi-unit environment.</p></li><li><p>Possess a valid driver’s license</p></li><li><p>Successfully pass comprehensive criminal background and motor vehicle checks</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and team building skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Flexible availability in work schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays.
