Finance Business Partner - London (3-Month Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for a 3-month contract with a dynamic media company based in Central London. This role will play a key part in advising on the company's financial health, performance, and strategic growth within the fast-paced media industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, marketing).
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Deliver detailed financial analysis and insightful commentary on business performance, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and key performance indicators. Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial expertise to inform commercial decisions, assess growth opportunities, and contribute to the development and execution of business strategy.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks specific to the media sector, ensuring compliance with financial controls and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve financial systems and processes, driving operational efficiency across the business.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Financial Expertise: Strong grasp of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, risk management, and financial modelling.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strategic Mindset: Capable of aligning financial goals with broader business objectives.
