The Opportunity

Mode Mobile is hiring a senior, battle-tested dealmaker to unlock revenue from U.S. carriers, OEMs, and enterprises at scale.

This role is for someone who already knows the carrier org charts, already has people who pick up their calls, and has personally closed meaningful carrier or OEM deals. If you’ve built your career inside the telco ecosystem and want real ownership, real upside, and a direct line to the CEO, this role is for you.

We are not looking for someone to “learn the space.” We are looking for someone to weaponize existing relationships and turn them into revenue fast.

What You’ll Own

Carrier & OEM Revenue — End to End

  • Personally drive and close strategic deals with U.S. mobile carriers, OEMs, and enterprise partners
  • Convert existing relationships into distribution, pre-load, monetization, and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Own the full lifecycle: intro → pitch → negotiation → close → expansion

Big Deals. Real Impact.

  • Structure complex, high-stakes commercial agreements (rev share, OEM, platform distribution, enterprise)
  • Navigate carrier politics, procurement, legal, and exec stakeholders without slowing momentum
  • Bring carrier insight directly into product and monetization decisions

Be the Face of Mode to Carriers

  • Represent Mode Mobile at the highest levels with carrier and OEM executives
  • Build credibility fast and position Mode as a must-have strategic partner
  • Act as an internal truth-teller on what carriers will and won’t buy

Zero-Bureaucracy Execution

  • Work directly with the CEO and the exec team
  • No layers. No hand-offs. No red tape.
  • You own the number and the strategy to hit it

Who This Role Is For

You might be a fit if:

  • You’ve led carrier or OEM partnerships or a similar telco-adjacent platform
  • You already have deep relationships at U.S. carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, MVNOs, OEMs)
  • You’ve closed complex, multi-million-dollar deals, not just supported them
  • You’re comfortable selling vision, platform value, and long-term strategic upside
  • You want ownership, autonomy, and upside, not committee approvals

This is not a role for:

  • Career sales managers without direct carrier relationships
  • Anyone who needs enablement, scripts, or guardrails to sell

What Success Looks Like (First 3–12 Months)

  • Multiple signed carrier, OEM, or enterprise partnerships generating real revenue
  • Mode Mobile embedded into carrier distribution or monetization workflows
  • Clear, repeatable carrier GTM motion
  • A pipeline that compounds quarter over quarter

Why This Role Is Different

  • Direct CEO access and decision-making authority
  • A real product and monetization engine behind the pitch
  • Massive whitespace in carrier and OEM distribution

Alignment with Our Core Values:

  • Accountable: You take ownership of your responsibilities, demonstrating trustworthiness and self-discipline. You are consistent in your work, transparent in your actions, and communicate effectively. You follow through on commitments and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Action-driven: Identify what is most important, agree on scope, execute in a timely manner, and drive the greatest impact.  You take initiative, roll up your sleeves, and get things done.
  • Caring: You genuinely care about yourself and others, our business and craft, our mission and vision, and are passionate in heart and mind. You understand the importance of our team and strive to create a positive, supportive work environment.
  • Curious: You focus on the ‘why,’ learn and expand your knowledge, explore new ideas, and generally make things better.  You're a lifelong learner with a thirst for knowledge and a constant desire to improve.
  • Thorough: Your work is thoughtful, impactful, timely, accurate, and complete.  You pay attention to detail, are meticulous, and ensure quality work and compliance.

We Believe in the Following Workplace Norms

  • Allow OKRs to Guide Us
  • Assume Positive Intent
  • Agree to Disagree & Commit
  • Set New Precedents
  • Accomplish More with Less
  • Hold Yourself & Others to High Standards
  • Speak Up
  • Be Resourceful
  • Follow the 80/20 Rule

What We Are Offering

  • We are a 100% remote-first, global company.
  • A competitive compensation package.
  • We offer generous perks & benefits to team members.
  • Participation in the Company's equity plan (for full-time team members).
  • We provide individual bonuses in accordance with our Company Bonus Program.
  • Work with energetic, passionate, and results-driven people.
  • Celebrate team members' personal and work milestones.
  • Remote social activities, including virtual coffee buddies.
  • Bonusly - We use Bonusly as a way to recognize and reward team members for their hard work and commitment.
