As the Head of Climate & Sustainability Consulting & Advisory Services at 4WARD.earth, you'll be at the forefront of developing transformative sustainability strategies for organizations committed to meaningful environmental impact! Role Overview Lead the development, growth, and execution of 4WARD's Climate & Sustainability Consulting practice, building a network of expert consultants, acquiring and advising clients, and creating impactful programs that drive both environmental transformation and business value. Key Responsibilities • Consultant Network Development: Recruit, retain, and manage a network of sustainability and climate consultants and partners who can deliver exceptional value to clients. • Client Acquisition & Advisory: Identify, pursue, and secure consulting engagements with organizations seeking to advance their sustainability initiatives, directly advising corporate stakeholders on climate strategy. • Thought Leadership: Create and participate in events and expert sessions that showcase 4WARD's consulting expertise and drive interest and demand for our services. • Practice Growth Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to scale the consulting practice, including service offerings, methodologies, and pricing models. • Project Management: Oversee consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and project profitability. • Team Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to third-party consultants and service providers contributing to client projects. • Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the CEO and management team to ensure the consulting practice aligns with 4WARD.earth's mission, vision, and long-term objectives. Qualifications • Proven experience in sustainability or climate consulting, with a track record of delivering impactful projects for organizations. • Strong network within the sustainability and climate space, with the ability to attract top-tier consulting talent. • Exceptional business development skills, with experience in sales, relationship building, and client management. • Deep understanding of corporate sustainability challenges, frameworks (such as ESG, TCFD, SBTi), and emerging trends. • Outstanding leadership ability with experience managing consulting teams and complex projects. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex sustainability concepts into actionable business strategies. • Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build and grow a consulting practice from the ground up.
